Testimonials
‘Ebony has been training with Bodyrox since she was three years old. It has been an integral part of her development and it has helped to shape her into the bright, happy, confident and very individual girl that she has grown into. She has always been nurtured, encouraged and completely valued. Her skills have developed massively from those early days and she amazes me with her eagerness to learn and her commitment to Bodyrox, her efforts never go unnoticed. Leah and the rest of the dance company consistently inspire Ebony to continue to improve. Ebony would be lost without her dance family and I am very grateful that she has this in her life’.- Parent 2018
“Hip Hop Half Term has been a fantastic project that has run several times in our theatre and studio spaces. Engaging children and young people from a wide age range, the sessions have always received very positive feedback from both participants and their parents. As well as giving children and young people the opportunity to explore a wide range of high quality dance activity, taking part in Hip Hop Half Term has also helped participants to build their confidence, make new friends and be creative in a supportive and professional environment’- Creative Projects Manager, The core Corby Cube.
Funding
We were successfully awarded matched funding from The Core Corby Cube and The Travers Foundation in 2017, which we were absolutely over the moon with.
Creative director Leah Waterfield created the urban Dance Project which engaged Bodyrox Dance crew into the life as a professional dancer.
